Helix Cloud
Tripled share of AI voice in nine months; AI-attributed pipeline is now tracked as a board KPI.
Illustrative example based on a composite of client engagements. Figures are representative, not a named client result.
The challenge in detail
Helix appeared in AI answers regularly but always as a generic option — listed among alternatives with no stated technical reason to select it. On constrained technical prompts, where buying intent is highest, it dropped out entirely in favour of providers with denser documentation footprints. Share of AI voice against a five-brand competitive set sat at 12%.
Diagnosis
Helix's genuine technical depth was gated or presented as marketing copy. Models had nothing quotable: no published performance characteristics, no clear compliance posture statements, and documentation that was hard to extract from because it relied on layout rather than structure. Third-party technical corroboration was thin in exactly the domains models cited for the category.
What we did
We ran a schema and structure overhaul across product and documentation surfaces, published specifics — performance characteristics, architecture fit, compliance posture — in extractable formats, and built comparison content that stated trade-offs honestly. The authority program targeted the technical publications and community sources already appearing in the citation map, with named engineers attached to the material.
Results and timeline
Share of AI voice moved from 12% to 47% over nine months against the same competitive set and prompt panel. More importantly, Helix's own domain became a cited source in a significant share of technical answers, meaning models repeat Helix's framing rather than a competitor's summary of it. AI-attributed pipeline is now reported as a board-level KPI.
